Fine City Fine Art
Charity Exhibition & Online Auction (Crypt Gallery, Norwich School)
Exhibition Curation, Project Management & Design Assistance
About the project
Fine City Fine Art was a charity exhibition and online auction featuring work by 60+ local artists. I was brought on to project manage and curate the show, supporting selection, organisation, and display, and contributing to the online catalogue and social media promotion.
Hosted at the Crypt Gallery, Norwich School, the exhibition paired established and emerging artists and raised funds for Keeping Abreast, a Norwich-based breast cancer reconstructive support charity.
Considerations
Creating cohesion and fairness across 60+ artists, balancing established names with emerging artists and amateurs.
Setting the right tone—celebratory and community-led, while clearly communicating the charity purpose.
Connecting physical + digital by shaping both the gallery experience and the online auction (catalogue structure and messaging).
Designing for the Crypt Gallery—working with the space’s atmosphere while planning flow, pacing, and presentation.
Promoting the auction through social content that spotlighted individual works and encouraged bidding.
Outcome
The exhibition showcased the region’s artistic talent while supporting a vital local charity. By combining a strong physical display with an accessible online auction, Fine City Fine Art widened engagement through visits, sharing, bidding, and donations, strengthening community connection around both art and advocacy.
