First Light Lowestoft: Art in the Huts

Myself and JMC Anderson have been selected to transform a Lowestoft beach hut into an immersive astronomical space inspired by our 2016 residency Constellations. The hut will hold every constellation in the northern hemisphere spelled out by individual letters and arranged in star-patterns to resemble the cosmos.

First Light Festival is a brand new FREE 24-hour multi-arts festival for the UK from midday on Saturday the 22nd of June, through to midday on Sunday the 23rd, celebrating Lowestoft as our most easterly town, where the first sunrise reaches the horizon every morning.

Return To Nature

To coincide with Earth Day (22nd April) 'Return to Nature' brings together creatives who work using nature as a material and subject matter, or use art to highlight environmental concerns.

The event is free and open for all, to encourage use of this beautiful spot of nature within central Norwich, and to celebrate our wonderful planet, raising awareness in how our actions influence the environment.
